Crab Louie (Seafood Salad Recipe)

Crab Louie is a refreshing seafood salad with lump crab meat, tossed with a spicy Louie dressing. Low carb, keto, and gluten free recipe.

  • 1 6-ounce heart romaine lettuce cut lengthwise in half then crosswise into 1/2 inch thick strips
  • 1 large avocado chopped
  • 1 large roma tomato chopped
  • 3 hard boiled eggs 2 cut into wedges and 1 chopped
  • 8 ounces lump crab meat

Louie Dressing:
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (I use Heinz sugar free ketchup)

Crab Louie (Seafood Salad Recipe)

  1. Stir together all dressing ingredients until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Arrange a bed of lettuce on two salad plates.
  3. Top with crab, eggs, tomatoes, and avocados.
  4. Leave dressing on the side, or drizzle on top of the salad. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
